In 2024, we took a big leap and purchased a 33-acre farm just outside of Kansas City — the very same land that was once home to Alldredge Orchards. What started as a dream to live closer to the land quickly grew into something much bigger: a place where families, friends, and neighbors can slow down, connect, and create “core” memories.

With every apple picked, every donut devoured, and every celebration held in our barn, we’re building something for the next generation — something rooted in joy, in season, and community.

Why 'Apple of My Eye'?

The name came to us while standing at the top of the giant slide, looking out across the orchard. In that moment, we realized just how special this piece of land is — not just to us, but to those who came before and those who will follow.

“Apple of My Eye” was a phrase that kept showing up in our lives in the months leading up to the purchase. It stuck with us because it perfectly captured what this place means: something precious, something to be cared for.

We see how deeply the previous owner loved this land, and we’re honored to continue that legacy — sharing it with families, guests, and our community for years to come.
